I’m deeply inspired by the emotion that color brings into my life, channeling a playful, funky, childlike energy. For me, it’s about embracing the joy, vibrancy, and freedom that come from letting go. Play opens the door to exploration, imagination, and the creation of new worlds—something that has captivated me since childhood.
At the same time, I find myself drawn to the quieter, more introspective moments in life—the vulnerability, loss, and longing that linger like bittersweet memories. Nostalgia plays a significant role in my work—that yearning to freeze time, to hold onto fragments of what has passed, even when the present feels as though its moving too quickly.
In my art, I strive to balance these two realms: the bold, radiant colors of play—remember the transparent neon hues of the '90s—and the more somber 'blue hour' reflection tied to memory and distant longing. I’m constantly seeking the intersection of these worlds, letting that delicate balance guide me as I move forward.
